Bundy II Alto Saxophone
A classic American student saxophone from Selmer, built to take years of lessons and band rehearsals in its stride.
About this instrument
This one is currently in the Key Works workshop. Like every instrument we sell, it will be fully serviced, adjusted and regulated before it goes on sale, then play tested so we know it's ready to go straight from the case. More photos will be added here once it's finished.
The Bundy II was Selmer's American-made student saxophone, and generations of players started out on one. The lacquered brass body gives a warm, full sound, while the nickel-plated keys are hard-wearing and resist the knocks that come with school use. The key layout is straightforward and comfortable for developing hands, with mother-of-pearl key touches, and the solid build means it holds its adjustment well. It's a reliable, robust first saxophone with plenty of tone to grow into.
